I have photographed Daniel and Yvette's family a few times now including the birth of two of their children.
Mum had a plan to photograph the kids first so that Grandma who was visiting from overseas could take them home. We got straight into getting the kids all dressed and the boys looked so smart in their button up shirts. Judah and Isaac were super keen to snuggle up to their little sister but little Noah wasn't too keen on this whole photo shoot idea.
Check out this gorgeous photo below of Noah giving me his best "No" face when we captured a photo of mum with her boys.
A lot of parents worry their younger children might not partake in photos and sometimes we can run into this issue but after working with so many families I have tricks to use with little ones and ways to engage them in photos. Little Noah wasn't too keen but when it came to his baby sister he was all about the kisses and cuddles! And we even got a smile or two...
Incorporating colours you love in your session
I love getting parents input for the colours we use in their session. It's important to choose colours that will match your style and home so I asked Daniel and Yvette to select colours they loved and purple was perfect for their little girl. We paired it with white so it wasn't too over powering and the little headband was just the perfect touch.
I think even little Ananiah loved purple! Catching little smiles in sessions always makes me so happy as my clients love and cherish those shots.
Before I knew it, the session was wrapping up and I captured the final images of Ananiah. The studio was pretty quiet and we chatted about how wonderful the day had been and how big all the boys were getting. I love chatting at my sessions and really getting to know more about my clients. Ananiah means "Protected" and with the most incredible family around her she will certainly be protected and loved.
Its always such a rewarding experience having clients back in my studio for their newest little babe and choosing me to once again capture these precious moments. So Dan and Yvette thank you for trusting me to capture this beautiful moment in your lives.
