Have a family photography session coming up and not sure what to wear? The choice can be overwhelming for some, thats why when you book a session with me I send you a preparation guide with a "What to Wear" segment. That way you will feel fully prepared before your photoshoot and confident with your outfit choices.
It's important to choose clothes that you love and make you feel good. If your uncomfortable in your outfit choices, chances are it will show through in your photos too.
I recommend starting with one main focal piece of clothing, work around that piece and find colours, textures and patterns that work well. Pretty soon you will start piecing together more outfits and creating a really cohesive lay out of your families outfits.
Don't be afraid to experiment with colour and patterns, I just recommend steering clear of big prints or logos. We don't want anything too distracting to take the focus away from you and your family.
Accessorise with scarves, hats or floral crowns. Add layers to your outfits and different textures to give your images depth. Most of all you want your images to show off who you and your family really are. Don't be afraid to get creative!
Sometimes laying all your outfits out can be a great way to see how they work together or what you can add/remove to create the look you want. Click Here to view my What to Wear inspiration board on Pinterest and start getting ideas for your family photoshoot.
